Paperwork is complete!
Now we wait - to see if there is anything we forgot & for a call to set up our home study visit. We have no idea how long that will take. After that we get the official approval and go look for kids! We see cute kids on the web site all the time so I don't think we'll have a problem finding great kids, it will just be finding OUR great kids!! Officially we are looking for 2-4 kids ages 5ish to 8ish - realistically we think 2 would be great!

August Update
Yea, it's been a while. Still working on the adoption thing. We've been in our house for over a year now! We still love it. We learned a bit about plumbing - what a Saturday night! Haven't quiet figured out what to do with the big backyard.
Dave is still teaching the 5-6 years olds at church. Camp is over and I'm now doing nothing - I sure miss those girls!
After months of record rain, we are finally experiancing a Texas summer. We have had a week of near record heat.
We went to Louisiana last month to visit Brad & Michelle Sims. It was great to see them and their kids. We got to go to Avery Island and visit the Tabasco factory & country store! We got to see aligators up close - too close!
Our next trip will be for our 11th anniversary in September. Just a quick weekend getaway. Don't know where yet.
