TOUR AT THE FIRE STATION

Today we were able to take a tour of Allen's main fire station. Firefighter Reed gave the tour and he was great! We looked at the fire trucks and then went inside where the firemen demonstrated all of there gear on our friend Melissa! She was a real sport and didn't cry once! The kids learned about fire safety and had a blast! I was talking to firefighter Reed about touring the fire station where they filmed "Emergency!" and one of the moms on the tour had never heard of the show. Oh, I am getting old! Sadly it was time for lunch so we had to go but we are always thankful for the brave firemen who serve the City of Allen!
